R. Troy Mortensen, RCDD §
Troy has been actively involved in the
telecommunications industry since 1991. He has been involved with fiber optics,
UTP, network hardware, telephone systems and other data communications
products, procedures and installations. Troy’s experience in the contractor
industry gives System Tech a greater understanding of construction procedures
and helps meet the customer’s needs more precisely. His business development
and corporate management skills have helped System Tech become the largest low
voltage installation company in Idaho.

R. Jaren Layton, RCDD §
Jaren’s involvement in the industry ranges from
basic network installations and project management to design and consulting. As
an experienced technician and project manager since 1998, Jaren’s skills help
him manage projects and installations across Eastern Idaho and the surrounding
area. Trained in copper, fiber-optic, and inside/outside plant cabling, Jaren
is able to oversee timely installations of any cabling system. Jaren is also a
BICSI Certified Traininer, BICSI Registered Technician and holds certifications
from companies such as Systimax, Ortronics, Leviton and Fluke Networks.

Doug McCleery, RCDD §
Doug has experience since 1993 in the
telecommunications field, showing ability to clearly see industry directions,
discern solid architecture from technical hype, and apply the technology in a
way that increases shareholder value. Experiences in the industry include
operations, programming and development, systems design engineering, project
management and systems integration. Through these experiences he has gained
valuable skills in dealing with people on all sides of the information
technology equation. He has gained skill in marketing ideas, providing service
and relating technical information to experienced as well as non-experienced
end users.

John Karel, RCDD §
Since 1995, John’s expertise with telecommunications
industry systems has included project management, AutoCAD design and
engineering, information systems and audio/visual systems. He has been
involved in various projects in Idaho and Iowa ranging from outside plant
optical fiber implementations, medical facilities, school districts and large
government remodels and additions. John also helps implement project management
policies and procedures throughout System Tech to ensure all projects are
completed in and timely manner and within budget.

Technicians §
System Tech employs technicians that have been
trained and certified in many of today’s most advanced installation procedures.
Our foremen and lead technicians have been involved in overseeing a number of
larger projects as well as handling current customer’s moves, adds, and changes
(MAC’s). They have extensive experience in fiber-optic termination and
splicing, network cabling, design, outside plant technology, telephone systems,
alarm systems and coaxial cabling. They are professional, courteous and have a
comprehensive understanding of the TIA/EIA and IEEE standards and NFPA &
NEC codes.
